Love the zen time of hand binding, but don't have the time or the hands any more? Hate the tediousness of hand binding, but don't like the look of machine binding? Bev has a class for you. Join her on January 15 and learn how to make a faux flange binding. They look like a decorative strip has been added to frame your quilt, but no--it hides your machine stitching. Bev will demonstrate how to make and attach the binding and then give you a sample to do yourself. Bring your sewing machine and basic tools. She also has a spiffy tool to help you make a good diagonal closing.
Can't come during the week? There is a second opportunity on Saturday, February 22 at 3pm Cost of either class is $25.
