Home School Quilters

Two Friends will teach your home schooled student the basics of sewing and quilting.  We will attempt to become a vendor for your home school provider. Classes will be held on Tuesday mornings and take each student forward from their beginning point.  Both Bev and Vicki are retired teachers who know how to present new material and support the struggling beginner or advanced quilter

Classes will be done in a six week rotation for the winter semester.   Sessions will be set by ages and abilities with beginners in the first session (10-11:30)   and more advanced students in the second session (11:30 - 1:00)   Students will begin at their own level--from here's the machine and its parts, sewing on paper, making a pillow case, starting a quilt.  Completed quality of completed projects  will be monitored and approved before moving onto a new project.   Projects can range from pillow cases, purses, quilts, wall hangings, place mats, hot pads, aprons......
Session 1  January 7 - February 25
Session 2  March 3 - April 28
Cost is $120 for each session.  We prefer pre-payment.  Please bring the registration sheets that your home school program requires.  Once the registration is completed, TFQ will complete necessary paperwork to be a vendor of that home school provider.
